Murrieta Canyon Academy

Matt Bean is serving in his second year as principal at Murrieta Canyon Academy.  Mr. Bean has twenty-eight years of educational experience as a teacher, coach, program coordinator, Assistant Principal, Deputy Principal, and District Coordinator. With a Bachelor's Degree from Cal State Fullerton, a Single Subject Teaching Credential in English from National University, a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Concordia University, and a Clear Administrative Credential from UC Irvine, Mr. Bean has spent the last twenty years working for the Murrieta Valley Unified School District.  Throughout his career, Mr. Bean has been a strong advocate for student success and accountability.  

At home, Mr. Bean is supported by his wife Kristin (MVUSD teacher), daughter Alyson (21), and son Kaiden (18). As a family, they spend their free time on their boat, on the golf course, or traveling to the kids' sporting events.
