MVHS International Baccalaureate Course Options

 Courses offered at MVHS:

 For the full IB Diploma, students must take 3 HLs and 3 SLs or 4 HLs and 2 SLs, one from each group. Students can take an IB course from one of the other groups to satisfy the group 6 option. HL courses are two-year courses and SL courses are for one year.

Group 1: English Literature HL

Group 2: French SL, Spanish SL, Spanish HL

Group 3: History of the Americas HL, Economics SL

Group 4: Sports, Health and Exercise Science SL; Environmental Systems SL; Physics HL

Group 5: Math Analysis SL (Calculus focus with some Statistics); Math Applications (Statistics focus with some Calculus)

Group 6: Psychology SL, Psychology HL or a second science
